Future Cities - Final Conference

The FUTURE CITIES partnership invites you to its final conference to share knowledge and to look forward.

How can we make our future cities attractive and climate-proof? Discuss with the project partners adaptation strategies and innovative pilot projects from Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Great Britain.
Discuss with representatives from the EU and national levels about recent adaptation policies and future perspectives of the funding programmes.

The conference venue - the Sussex Exchange - is in itself an example of what the project has developed in the past years.

ForeStClim - Final Conference

Liverpool, UK - 13-15 November 2012

The ForeStClim consortium invites to its Final Conference.
 
An icebreaker evening event will take place on the evening of Tuesday 13th November at the Cavern Club in Liverpool for ForeStClim partners and early conference travellers.
 
There will be a ForeStClim Partners meeting on Tuesday 13th November, where the ForeStClim photographic exhibition will also be opened.
 
The final conference will then take place on Wednesday 14th November, with a field trip to look at the ForeStClim funded interventions at Sefton Coast on Thursday 15th November to complete the week of activity!

2nd Cluster Expert Board

Tackling climate change - cities, regions and water boards hand over their policy recommendations to the European community.

The event aimed at presenting and discussing the drafted policy recommendations worked out by the Cluster projects in its second working phase. It therefore addressed beside experts in climate change all relevant policy makers and higher civil servants as target groups of the recommendations. European, national, regional as well as local levels of policy are concerned.

RegioStars Award 2012 presentation

SIC adapt! participated, together with the 23 other finalists of DG REGIO's competition of innovative projects, in a jury meeting session and presented interim results of the Cluster activities.

The winners will be announced during the Regions for Economic Change Conference to be held on 14 June 2012 in Brussels.
